Meet Amanda Potenza

A groomer with a true love for animals. Amanda has worked with animals for many years. She also has experience working with and showing show dogs. From recognizing canine behaviors, to knowing specific breeds needs and haircuts, Amanda is well rounded with a gentle touch and a kind smile to work with you and your dogs.

Quality

We work to have your dog done in a timely manner, usually 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours, but we refuse to skip on quality for saving time. These dogs are a reflection of our work.

Convenience

We drive to you. You can either be at home at the time, or not. If desired we can come to your house during the busy work week to groom your precious pup.

Our Services

Baths with the Essentials

Bathe your pup with top of the line products. And don’t skimp on the necessary essentials to keeping your pup happy and healthy. We dremel nails for a softer rounded finish, trim the hair from the bottom of paw pads, to keep your dog comfortable and having full use of friction, and sanitary trims for a cleaner pup.

Grooming Services

You can choose a full service groom or a mini groom. Full grooms can be styled however you wish. From short for easy maintenance, to fluffy and stylized. Mini grooms are great for the pup that needs a little sprucing up in between full grooms.

Specialty Add Ons

We can also add a little extra to pamper your pup. We have speciality shampoos from coat brightener to shampoos for dogs with sensitive skin or skin issues. We also have a Keratin Conditioning Mask to help soften, smooth out, and repair damaged hair. Also add a little flare with some ending touches such as nail polish, hair accessories, or even hair color. For those wirehaired and terrier breeds, we also offer handstripping to keep their coats in shape

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mobile Grooming?

Mobile grooming is when a professional groomer comes to your home to groom your pet in their own grooming vehicle/trailer. We bring all the necessary tools to work. This is a great option for dogs with car sickness, separation anxiety, who are very old, or puppies who you may not want near other dogs for health reasons. It's also good for someone who has a very busy schedule or are unable to drive. Dogs can feel less stressed and overall more comfortable during the grooming process without having to take the trip to the salon.

Why can't you not give an exact price when I call for an appointment?

The price will be determined after I have met your dog and are able to see things like the condition and length of your dog’s coat and the dog’s behavior to see if there are any factors that may make the grooming appointment take a bit longer than usual, and therefore cost a bit more.

What are your payment options?

We accept Paypal, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. Credit, Debit, and Cash are also accepted. Sorry checks are not accepted at this time.

How long does a grooming session usually take?

A grooming session will take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 depending on the condition of the dog and the style wanted. But a dog that is groomed regularly usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.

What are your hours?

You can call to schedule an appointment Monday-Friday 9-6.

How often should my dog be groomed?

The answer depends on several things, like coat structure and length. Most dogs will get a groomed around an average of every 4-6 weeks. If a dog has a longer or fluffier coat, a mini groom may be good in between full grooms, to keep them looking their best and free of matts.

Do you groom large dogs?

I can groom large dogs up to 80 pounds as long as they are well behaved.

What areas do you cover?

We cover areas of Port Saint Lucie, Saint Lucie West, and some parts of Jensen Beach

Do I have to be home when you come to groom?

No, you do not need to be home when we come to groom. If you are at work, no worries. Many clients leave their keys, garage codes, or smart lock codes for me to come and retrieve the dog for grooming. After we have our first grooming session, we can discuss if this option interests you. After I am done with grooming everything will locked back up, and you will have your happy clean pup awaiting you when you come home.
